Hello again. Well it says in Proverbs that in the multitudeof counsellors is
safety so here goes.

Pr 11:14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of
counsellors there is safety.

I have been invited by a old work mate to go down to the Hells Angels
clubhouse in Manchester. This ex work mate of mine (ex because I no longer
work with him) is a biker and has been instrumental in forming a local
Motorcycle Club. At one stage he was the President of the motorcycle club,
but he has now resigned from that position. As the President of the MC club
he had to attend various functions and that included of course visting other
clubs, including the Hells Angels. As well of course as gettinginvolved with
one or 2 Christian MC clubslike the God Squad and the Tribe of Judah.
When my dad died last year he invited me to the Hells Angels club then
and I went. And I must admit it was the best thing to happen to me after my
dad dying. To be surrounded by a load of tough bikers in their own club
house, and of course they had a massive deaths head ikon on the
wall!!!!!!!!! Just what I needed after our dad died.

So again my mate has invited mydown to the Hells Angels clubhouse on the
Saturday night. I am not a biker myself. But I do have a slight hankering
after rock and roll. On the other hand I am a born again fundamentalist
Christian, baptised in water and the Holy Spirit, Bible believing and Bible
toting!!!! And dare I say it, Bible obeying.......... by faith!!!!!!!

So should I go with my non Christian work mate and his mates down to the
clubhouse on the basis that I could witness down there, or should I cry
off.........????

Any and all opinions gratefully accepted...........thanx in advance for your
support

All the evidence suggests that Jesus enjoyed a good party or two, and
that he was surrounded by folk who didn't necessarily share his
viewpoint. Is that a clue?

Oh and don't bother about witnessing. If they like you, and you're OK,
there will be opportunities later. If they don't you have nothing to
witness.

btw. I thought you were planning to come to the Manchester meet last
month (28/2/04) - did you get lost? ;-)

Thanx for the replies. I didnnt go.

I quit my job on the Friday morning. So I figured I have enuf to think about
over the weekend , without alchohol clouding the issue over the weekend.

After all it is only a private night club in manchester when all said and
done. And to be quite honest if i hear one more tribute band i will scream
and ram the mic down the singers throat...............where it the new
original musick???

Based on your previous visit, what are the chances of your being able to
witness? If you had even one good conversation about your faith last time,
then I think that is good enough to go again. If, on the other hand, the
music was too loud for conversation and everyone was too out of their heads
on drink and/or drugs to take any serious interest in what you might have to
say, then keep away.

Not having been in any Hell's Angels clubhouses recently, that is the best I
can offer by way of advice.

God bless,

I don't know a think about these places, so general thoughts only.

Does anything go on at the club that is violent, depraved, illegal or
otherwise contrary to Christian values? If so, then being there might
not be good for you.

If not, then it's really up to you what you do to relax - and my
personal feeling is that a Christian should not come across as a
po-faced disapproving what-not! You might be able to witness - or you
might be able to make friends you will be able to witness to at some
point in the future.
