Anyone had any experience of mending Teva sandals? The outer sole has
partially separated from the topsole that fits inside it on one of
mine, but maybe a good rubber adhesive would fix it. Then again,
they're pretty old (no idea of the style name), so maybe the time has
come...

Last week the heel on my old cycling shoes fell off, well they are c,
20 years old!

So I popped into my local old fashioned cobblers, he charged me £2.00
to stick it back and and to bang in a few nails. I figured £2.00 is
less than a tube of glue, plus he knows what glue to use.

That would have been my first thought in those far-off days when I had
just such an old-fashioned cobbler 3 or 4 minutes walk away. He has
been sorely missed. Thanks for reminding me not to automatically head
for B&Q!

As you say we tend to forget the obvious, fortunately my local cobbler
is 3 - 4 minutes walk away.

Perhaps one on the 'new and inmporved' franchised shoe repairers in
shopping centers might do the job?

Cobbler, as otherwise suggested, but also you may find running shops
have "Shoe Goo" which could do the job.

Pete.
