Does anyone know how to get specks of gloss paint out of a Gore-Tex, without
ruining it or reducing it's waterproof and breathable properties.

I leaned against the beam to open a lock gate on the Leeds Liverpool canal
and although the paint was dry on the surface but there were a few
drips/runs that were wet underneath the skin (no sign to indicate this I
add).

thanks from sally

I would leave them alone. I suspect that any solvent which would remove
them once dry will do more damage to the Goretex than the paint itself.
And it will give the jacket that 'lived in' look!

Yeah leave it, DIY designer chic is very in these days! I've just fried a
pan of sausages in my new linen shirt, and now I look like a dalmation!

Bugger, you are following my threads correctly! From co-op to pan in one
easy move! I'm also the guy who has seriously upset the 'power walker' up
above! Hopeit wasn't you!

I have done many things in my life but 'power walking'ain't one of
them.Where I live,if I tried power walking and was seen by any of the
villagers they would visit me armed with an old fashioned elixir to help
clear up my 'bottom problems':-)

We did a pleasant, but unimportant walk near Blackburn the other week.

This in fact was the advice I got from Berghaus when I did a similar
thing. It worked.
