As some of you are already aware, today is World Naturist Day.
Naturist clubs and organisations throughout the UK are holding special
events and opendays for those who would like to know more, and I'd
like to extend an invitation to everyone reading u.r.w to drop into
the naturist part of Usenet, which thrives at uk.rec.naturist.
Please feel welcome to drop into uk.rec.naturist, say 'hello', ask any
questions you may have, and delurk if you haven't yet done so. Help
yourself to our traditional welcome of tea and biccies at
http://www.jaceeprint.demon.co.uk/DELURK.html
We look forward to your company on our special day :-)
If you would like to know more, without coming to visit urn, I can
recommend these websites:

Nice to see you over here as well.
There's me thinking that you spent all your time laying down on some sun
drenched beach getting a tan.
I would have joined you today ( at least in the garden) but for the weather
and the fact I was dragged kicking and screaming to walk round the Trafford
Centre by the missus.

I'm sure we're all very tempted :-)
Actually, walking in the scud is not as uncommon as you may think!

Please drop in to urn again at anytime... we (with a few *cough*
honourable exceptions) may not know much about the hills but we're
_very_ clued up on the lower ground abutting the waves :-) It would
be nice to get a little bit of input about the more secluded, easily
accessible higher places.....
We can also rustle up a bucket-load of excuse^H^H^H reasons not to go
shopping, especially when the sun is shining :-)

Happy World Naturist Day!

You should try the hills of Donegal in the NW of Ireland. You won't get any
more secluded than that - although the weather ain't exactly suited to
naturists ;o)

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that
cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong
goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.

There was a program about that on the telly a while ago. I think Melvyn
Bragg wrote it. It seemed to involve people wandering around the Lake
District without any clothes on, though it may have been somewhere else as
there was no-one else in sight.
