Just realised that the trailer I've had made to carry our two
scootererers could also be an ideal recording studio.

Stick some egg-boxes on the inside and we're up for it. It already has a
power hook-up.

So maybe 'COFFIN DODGERS' on the front of the Hymer tow-motor, and 'FOLK
AND BEYOND - LIVE' on the sides of the trailer.

Or is that too pretentious?

I'm actually getting quite excited about all this.

Even if it lasts just a couple of years, it'll be a hoot!

I never miss this weekly CBC radio show - hosted by
Terry O'reilly - and recorded in his restored & converted
little AirStream - link below.

https://terryoreilly.ca/terstream/

His show is about marketing/advertising and is _way_
better than you'd expect - highly recommended -
podcasts or archived on cbc.ca

He has the ability to turn an otherwise uninteresting subject
into a compelling half-hour of radio - a recent episode
about Taylor Swift is a good example :

Great fun! Go for it! (though for my money (which you're not getting) I'd
drop the slogans. At most, 'Uncle Tone's mobile studio' fore and aft, I
suggest).

BTW anyone seen our other Tony (Mr Hinge) recently?

at least no worse, but he had a lot of computer troubles.

I would resist the urge to suggest that anything of value might be in
there?
Maybe, "Only Old Bloke's Junk Kept In This Trailer Overnight"?

Keep your junk in a trailer? I keep mine in my trousers (these days).

Long ago and far away you could walk in to a drapers / haberdashers shop
and buy .... replacement pockets for "gentlemens trousers" - and now
you know why.

What I dont know is why they called them "gentlemens trousers" - as I
think it was illegal for women to wear trousers ?

Well, it was, in France, until (relatively) recently.

Did ladies trousers have pockets ? If not, then you couldn't replace
them.

Sounds good. I am reminded of the Capital Cruiser, which had a control
room built into the back end of an American motorhome, and used the rest
of the living area as a combined green room and recording area.

I'd back your motorhome as sounding better and being more soundproof
than a trailer with eggboxes.

Coo! Posh! Of course there is no way I would be licenced to drive
anything that big now. 3.5 tonne is my official limit. Annoying having
held HGV Class 1 and PSV Manual licenses for most of my driving life.

No, I'm happy with what we're putting together. Images will follow
(eventually). It all deep ends on whether a specialist company in
Stoke-on-Trent can fit a tow-bar to the ancient Hymer. Booked in for
March 13th.

Planning escape the day after Easter weekend.

Talking of hat tricks, you could always use DOFFIN’ CODGER.

If you don't want to set up a blog you could set up a private Facebook
group. You control who is allowed to join and you can post a diary of your
travels, pictures etc.

When I was young and naive, I knew a girl who loved to put her hands
in one of my trouser pockets. I was too shy and naive to suggest we go
further.
