No. I didn't find out about the opera until several weeks after it had
been staged. I was told by someone on Usenet.

bloody arties :-)

I don't mind them doing it; in my current situation exposure is
probably beneficial. I'm not enthusiastic and would like a private
life, but with MI5 watching me at home and outside it is rationally
the best option.

I'm afraid it is.

It's not the only such. Many years ago there was a TV programme (C4)
called the Power List. I only found out about it after it had aired.

The URL is; http://www.mi5.com/coverage/#slander

unfortunately the video doesn't play, a compatibility problem with the
current Quicktime software which I haven't got around to fixing yet.

Is what troo, that there was an opera or that dingbat didn't know about it?

The opera existed I have no idea if he knew ahead of time or not.

Didn't know Quicklime still existed. Never liked it. Bloodly fussy, it is.

The former. Ta.

Scratches head in an oddly-impressed sort of way, mutters something about
opera plots.

What other options are there? Does HTML5 have a construct for
audio/video?

I believe MP4 emanated from QT, hence my choice of media player.

Yes, and VLC will play almost any known form of audio or video.

Whatever you think of the opera[62], it's Not Right that they didn't
talk to Mike about it beforehand.

They might have had a cosy chat with him through his telly.
