I am off to Tenerife the last week of August, and was wondering which
wetsuit to take. Can anyone let me know what the water temp is likely to be
in the last week of August/first week of September then I can choose the
right suit for the job...

3mm will be plenty.
Whether it's long or short depends on your bouyancy control, and whether you
like sea urchins !
Take gloves for the wrecks and the urchins.

Last year I was there in mid July and it was 18 degrees, I used a
shortie from my semi.
