Home Counties gig and Coypu dinghies.

Yesterday, I spoke to Royalls Boatyard, Hoveton, Norwich.

They said that their mould for a Home Counties Gig and a Coypu dinghy
are 'useless' and cannot be repaired.

I believe they had the only Home Counties gig mould.

Does anybody know of a manufacturer of Coypu dinghies?

PS Home Counties gigs are 20' wood and fibreglass pulling boats.

Coincidence? I've just enquired of Royalls regarding Coypus, with much
the same response.

Many years ago, 22nd Oxford Sea Scouts were building Home County Gigs,
so maybe they have, or know where the mould is.If you
track it down, do let me know.
In regards to to the Coypu, again, many years ago Longridge Scout
Boating Centre had a mould, so that might be worth a try. Again let me
know if you have any luck in tracking down either of these boats
moulds.
If I get any joy I'll let you know.
