I aplogise if the odd word is wrong but I'm sitting in the middle of a
200 seater computer lab. doing all the actions to try & remember it.
We used to do it 2 or 3 times with the 1st normal the last loud and with
a prolonged "world is ours" and the middle on (if it was done) as a
whisper.

All hands aboard boys
All hands aboard boys
this ship is calling for more
we're getting ready now
for steady pull away from the home shore
we're off to find adventure any how
because we know that now
CHORUS
We're riding along on the crest of a wave
and the sun is in the sky
All of our eyes on the distant horizon
look out for passers by
We''l do the haling
while all the ships around are sailing
we're riding along on the crest of a wave
and the world is ours
There is another verse but this is all i can remember. Appropriate action
goes with all lines of the chorus!

has a vast collection of words for camp fires and the like. I'm pretty
sure that the words for "Crest of a Wave" are there.

Yes, I do - If you remember we all (incl youy) sang it at the Gang show at Christmas.
BTW: It's
"We're riding along on the Crest of a wave,
and the sun is in the sky,
All of our eyes on the distant horizon,
look out for passers-by,
We'll do the hailing,
while other ships are out-a sailing,
We're riding along on the crest of a wave
And the world is ours"
There is a second verse (I think) which I have the words to somewhere.

And The Second Verse is:
Sailing the seas is [pause] great when the breezes,
Seem just to blow you along
And tho' before we [pause] land there'll be stormy
Weather, we'll face it with song
High tho' the billows, we go crashing thru'
With our Adventure Crew.
We're riding...
Happy Singing,
