I'd be grateful if anyone who has a good experience of an online
chandlers & yachting spares supplier could post a URL, especially a
large outlet so I can do my shopping in one place.

I've not had any problems with Marine Superstore at Port Solent
http://www.marine-super-store.com/ - shopping online may help with the
problem of seeing so many attractive gadgets and having to buy at least one!

I live in the Chiltern Hills well away from any chandlers, so would
consider myself the expert on buying on line.
The marine superstore is good, but does not have the range of fittings
that the

http://marinestore.co.uk/

at Maldon has. Especially when you are looking for a particular part
in a special size, their search engine always comes up trumps. Prices
are reasonable and in some cases better than places like

www.seamarknunn.co.uk

or

www.compass24.com

which tend to be the most competitive.

To meet your needs of wanting to buy everything at one place, I'd go
to the Marine Store at Maldon.

Difficult for me to compare like with like as I opnly speak English,
but prices dont seem any better than uk online chandlers from the
items that I looked at.

I thought the same thing having looked at Ric's site before. But found
unlike Bottenbank which have abandoned it, they have added a Union
Jack which translates everything into English. Their chartplotters
look well priced - but I'm trying not to buy one at present.
