If you get the chance read the book.
Same thing happened to a chap & family back in the sixties. His book
"Survive the Savage Sea" is a frightening account of it. I think he did
about 56 days in a 10 foot dinghy with 7 on board. He was called Dougal
Robertson and I wonder what happened to him and his family after they were
rescued.
Sorry to hear about Marilyn, did her husband survive?

The shipwreck was in the seventies, she died at the age of 61, Maurice, her
husband is still alive.
Sorry to hear of her death.
I was on Coastguard duty at Saint Ives when they anchored overnight on their
way home to the Channel Islands with their new boat Auralyn (spelling) 2.
They had only picked her up from North Devon a few days before.
She was the strength of that ordeal.
For anyone who has not read their book, please do so. It makes interesting
reading.
