Is anyone able to suggest a UK supplier of small off-cuts? I'm planning to
make a smaller cabin table in marine-ply for my Westerly Centaur.

I would have thought that exterior grade would be good enough for an
interior table but try Try K.J.Howells at www.k.j.howells.dial.pipex.com
they stock lots of timber items and can also supply some ready made table
tops.

Graham.

If you want to buy online then you could try
<URL: http://www.robbins.co.uk/ > or
<URL: http://www.slhardwoods.co.uk/ >; however, you'd almost certainly
be better off going to your local timber yard.

Morning had broken, and we had run out of gas for the welding torch.

I have a piece of oak about 3 and a half by 2 and a half or thereby and
about an inch thick. Obviously not solid in width but definitely so in
thickness and of very good glued construction. Needs a GOOD rub down and
a few coats of varnish. Free to a good home and new owner must collect -
could be delivered in West Central belt of Scotland but only at my
convenience

Have you tried your local Caravan Suppliers, they usually stock ready made
tops that look very presentable, and as it is not specifically a "marine"
item, it will probably be a sensible price too.

Steve.
