Fly masks ???

Can you get a face mask to prevent your swallowing flies whilst running?
This is quite distressing (for the fly, as well as me).
I wear glasses to stop them getting in my eyes, and horses routinely
have masks to prevent flies getting at their heads, so what about us
runners?
I'm thinking along the lines of the masks worn by the Japanese to filter
pollution, but with just a single layer of gauze.
I know you can get "whole head" midge screens, but that's more than I
need. I may just buy one of these and trim it down a bit, though.

No replies here, and my research drew a blank. So, I've commissioned a
local seamstress to create a bespoke mask for me. If it works well for
me, we might offer them for sale to the public.
