why not use a search engine!

http://www.homestead.com/tomcat964/cbradio.html

if its the compressor type

you will also need a 1k resistor & a 1n4001 diode mod kit to power the
thing.

Well I brought a good old K40 (an original one) last year for £5 and I
replaced the lead on it. I would now like to wire it up to my Yaesu 847.
I can remember having a K40 years ago (the original one) and it cam with a
wiring diagram. I reckon from that website I looked at that I may be able
to wire it up now. I know it needs 12v via a 1N004 diode, so what I might
do, instead of taking the 12v from the inside of the radio, I might take
some sort of wire from the inside of the plug. I haven't had time to have a
play yet though.

yes & an icom & a couple of PMR sets.

the yaesu i have gives an 8v constant dc voltage on one of the mic pins.

use the (spare) black wire (it isd to 0v as is the screen.

i have a layout of the k40 board somewhere!!

move the black with on the board to the + of the cap.
you might want to use quite a few ferrite beads as well to stop the squeel
you might get on ssb.

just a quick note though.

http://www.uksmg.org/ft847.htm

this link gives good info on the radio.
i doubt you should need the compressor mic really, the audio resp on the rig
can be tailored far better by the onboard processor.
