Help what spray

can any one tell me what spray they coat large prints with to give them that
oil painting effect

Years ago when I had a client who liked this effect I used to have
their prints done by a lab in Holland Park, London, I believe to the
best of my knowledge that the effect was created by printing onto
texture paper not spraying texture on after. I might very well be wrong
though.

The quality technique of achieving this effect is called canvas bonding. It
involves using a flatbed mounting press which precludes its use for most
amateurs. However most Pro Labs will canvas bond for you and some of the
better picture framers will also do this.

If anyone in central Scotland wants the address of a local lab I will happily
forward one.
