LOL NOW I have seen it all!!

Though when you think about it being nude is the only way to
decorate - saves heaps on overall cleaning etc. In fact last time
I stained a drawer I was nude. Nice to know we have tradesmen in
our midst.

Just don't mention wood

DOH!

Anyone seen the new Ariel ad on TV, couple in the nude doing the decorating
(I think, as I only caught the last few seconds).

Yes, quite right. Saw it this afternoon round about teatime. Can't
remember what product was being advertised!

Three years ago during the very hot summer I employed a decorator to paint
the outside of the back of my house. The weather was scorching so I took a
half day from work and returned to find the decorator having his lunch
naked stretched out in the sun. He was shocked and started to apologise
but I placated him by stripping off also. He said he would rather work in
the nude but rarely got the chance. As I live out in the countryside in
near total seclusion I am naked all the time. If only the culture in which
we live had been more open-minded then Ted, the decorator, could have been
more up front about his naked preferences. We have become good friends
since that encounter and wish all jobs could be done in the nude.

I wonder what response you decorater dude would get if he actually asked his
customers. If he is going to keep shtum and apologise when *caught* he can
hardly complain about not being able to be up front. WE are the people that
make up the culture.

I often ask people if they mind if I strip off. If they do, then I don't and
if they don't then I do.
