I keep getting messages similar to this, links *look* ok.
I don't have an instagram account, but I do have FB (using the same
email address).

Is this some new form of scam I've not worked out ?
Has someone added an account with my email address ?
(it is an alternative one, not one I log in to but one that gets
forwarded to my email via various places)

Not done any unsubbing. Just curious if someone is trying to use
my email address or not, and why?

I went to create an Instagram account recently, and found my email address had already been used. Some Russian totty, or someone posing as, and only a handful of posts from a couple of years ago.

I just requested a password reset by email and took the account over. If you've tried that and it didn't work, I dunno. But you're not alone in finding your address has been used by a Russian.

That was what I was trying to do, but when I tried to do a PW reset it
said the account did not exist.

I have a lot of Russia connections of FB now, and the address in
question is that one.

I had some idiot do that with an amazon account, so I did likewise, changed
his password for him
