Hi all,
I'm in the market for a replacement for the VW and came across this site
in Colchester:

http://auto-tradelink.co.uk/

Now, their prices are pretty unbelievable and I know if something looks
TGTBT then it usually is. Anyone local know anything about this outfit?
Is it worth me even looking or are they a bad dealer?

Cheers,

Not really. Bog standard bottom-feeding auction fodder, one MOT away from
scrap.

Well, considering my 11 year old VW has so many faults it's not worth
repairing and won't make it's next MoT, I'm pretty unconcerned about how
old a car is, rather that it's mileage is under 75k and the price is
under £1k.
Anyone know of anything or anywhere closer to my home?

Cheers :)

Ignore the mileage requirement, straight off. That's just an invitation
to bottom-feeders to rape your wallet. Never mind the condition, look at
the nice pretty numbers on the dash. If you're lucky, they might actually
be accurate.

Under a grand, there are bargains to be found - but one's thing for
certain, they _ain't_ with traders. A grand in the 'screen on a forecourt
today is yesterday's £300 auction purchase.

Sills falling it off yet?

I hope those apostrophes are ironic =)
But you may be onto something there. I'll have another look around.
