I am thinking of buying a Ducati 916 from chris Clarke Motorcycles in
Norfolk. Does anyone have an opinion on this dealers reputation &
reliability?

I think you are a bit of a dim asshole if you think anyone would fall for
this crap, you a salesman?? Did the boss ask you to do this or are you
working on your own initiative?? Either way, I wouldn't buy a tin of elbow
grease of you lot.

Buying, selling and asking opinions on the way you do it, very funny now

Ah, that's what I like to see, a polite, intelligent discussion of
netiquette conducted via private email.

and I gotta tell you, that they might well be trying it on, but that
does not detract from the fact they are a good shop, and worth a look.
Oh, and I aint got any kind of axe to grind, other than being a well
served customer of theirs for donkeys years.

Nope, wrong etc. The, I will say alledgedly, chap who is doing the posting
on behalf of certain firms says he is nothing to do with the firms he
tries to represent. He sure as hell isn't doing it for nothing he will
want to earn something somewhere along the line. The reason for me setting
fire to my keyboard had nothing to do with Chris Clarke Motorcycles at
all. You obviously praise them because you think it's due unlike twatty
who posts with froggered headers most of the time and sometimes as
himself. Even when he posts as himself it's a bit dubious that he is
posting seriously, it's always got something to do with a rip off of some
sort. My apologies to Chris Clarke, next time I will make it clearer who I
am ranting at, eh Paul old chap, you knew didn't you? He's a Doctor too,
wonder where he bought that title ;-)
