Will probably get Office for Mac for K, because she's doing the
jobsearch thing, and her iLife documents don't look right when viewed
on MS Word on Windows.

There's a free 30day trial available, apparently it installs as a
seperate app from '08 so no worries about getting fucked if you don't
want '09.
Just a shame that there's no discounted upgrade price, although, at $79
a pop, you can get three or four new versions for the same cost as a
legit version of MS Office for Windows.
There's also a bundle - iLife09, iWork09 and Leopard for about ten bucks
more than the two i-programs. Great if you don't already have Leopard,
or want to ebay it to recover some cost.

I read somewhere that this has been fixed to be 'much better', try the
trial version and see.
