"B U L L E T I N The TomTom GO 910 Satellite navigation device appears
to attempt to transfer viruses to a PC when connected to configure it
with updates; reports suggest that win32.Perlovga.A Trojan and
TR/Drop.Small.qp may be installed on the SatNav hard drive, within the
copy.exe and host.exe files used to make the cross-connection. The
infection is shipped with TomTom software version 6.5

TomTom have commented to say: "It has come to our attention that a
small, isolated number of TomTom GO 910’s, produced between September
and November 2006, may be infected with a virus..." (more details linked
to an article below).

The viruses concerned ought to be detected by normal anti-virus software
providing that it is properly up to date and currently licensed, but you
should be aware of the possibility of an infection arising when you
connect the device to a PC.
