In the last 3 weeks have been to work only 6 times and taken the car.
Just got the old GS500 bsck from my brother's to use as Winter SOB and
thought I'd better take it out for a try. The handling felt weird so
was going quite steady. Left hand from major 60 limit to minor 60
limit, just accelerated a bit too early and it was all lateral spin
from there.

No major damage to me or bike - both grazed - but my trousers are
knackered. I shall not be buying another pair like that (Weise
Vanguard).
