Anyone know the correct C of G for the Gangster 63. I have bought one
second hand and don't have the plans. Any opinions on this plane?

It's little brother I think was the Gangster "54" - this one was a "must
build one" down the local club some years ago. The Gangster doesn't appear
in contemporary ads though.

About a third to half way across the wing from the leading edge,
depending on how twitchy you want it to be.
Aim for about a third if you want to play it safe.

The one I was flying 2-3 years ago (the last time I actually flew
anything !!) was quite old and battered and felt 'heavy' in my opinion,
but flew absolutely beautifully with an Irvine 60 on the front. Was
great for nice big and neat aerobatics. I ran off the strip following a
forced fast downwind landing after the core blew out of the glow plug
soon after takeoff and bust the noseleg and dinged the wing, so decided
it was time for a complete overhaul. Got everything strpped down and
ready for covering.

That was 2.5 years ago but since buying a house i've just not had the
time to do any modelling at all :o(( Hope to start again soon though,
and the Gangster will be one of the first things I get airworthy again.
