How do most of you feel about reporting finds with the PAS? Do you
think it will be beneficial to the sport to do so, or do you think it
will just be a lot more un-needed government involvement?

Do not be fooled into any false state of security - the hidden agenda (the
SOLE purpose of the PAS) is to amass knowledge of what is being found by
detectorists.
Due to gullible detectorists donating finds to their spies, (aka FLO's) they
already have more than sufficient evidence to move on to the next stage -
bringing in Eu regulations to ban the hobby.
If you think this is all rubbish - just wait and see.
After January 2009 all legislation and laws in the UK will be issued by the
Eu government in Brussels.
The British government will no longer have any powers of legislature as
Gordon Brown already handed us over to Eu government when he signed the
Lisbon Treaty.
