Just noticed that Tesco are now selling the Tom-Tom GO700 for under Ł350
anyone else selling cheaper.

It's not just that. The manufacturers sell to the retailers at a
substantially lower wholesale price to clear the "pool" so as not to
dilute sales of the replacement model.

Dunno about that. Might be true for low-volume products, but when a
model is sold in the thousands/millions world-wide - I suspect that
there would never be a market for "classic" GPS.
