Hi,

After reading a few postings regarding leaf curl on Victoria plum trees (not
sure what my plum tree is),
I have inspected mine minutely...

The leaves are badly curled outwards and on uncurling them there is
absolutely no evidence of aphids.

I had a peach tree a couple of years ago which I scrapped due to leaf curl,
this seems to have introduced
the disease into the garden.

Several other ornamental fruit trees also seem to be mildly infected.

Any ideas how to clear the problem ???

See photo's at:

Many thanks,
Sam.

Could be a trace element deficiency such as boron or manganese. Other than
having your
soil analysed to pinpoint the deficiency (if indeed there is one!) , you
could try a regular foliar feed program containing these
vital elements.

Hope this helps,

David
