Hi,

Can anyone tell me how late I must leave pruning my 10 year old apple tree.

It has only cropped 4 ( precious ) apples which I believe I should be
picking now.

Any thoughts appreciated

The apples are ready for picking if they come off easily when you gently
lift them.

Why only 4? Biennial bearing - it cropped heavily last year? Or the
pollinator has been removed?

Pruning is best left until after leaf drop.
