You could take cuttings 2-3 inches long in August,select well ripened shoots
preferably with a heel of the current years growth.Insert the cuttings in
equal parts (by volume) peat and sand in a cold frame,the following april or
may plant the rooted cuttings out in nursery rows and grow on for 2
yearsbefore transplanting to permanent position.PS.sometimes variegated
holly reverts to green, remove the green shoots immediatly with secateurs
