I recently bought a 'Masterbrand' 3+ sprayer from B&Q on someone elses
recommendation. They said how good it was.
Anyway, I used Wilko's own brand fence paint to spray 2 6x3 panels, and it
was a success. The paint had stood for some time before I used it.
At the weekend I bough some more of the same fence paint and poured it into
the sprayer bottle. I then plugged everything in and switched
on....result....nothing came out!
So I emptied the bottle, took the sprayer to pieces to check all was ok and
there were no blockages, which there was none.
For good measure I changed both filter and spray nozzle, and tried again.
Same thing, nothing came out. Upon checking the filter etc again, I noticed
that there was no sign of any paint getting into the actual sprayer. So I
now wonder if I should thin it down, but by how much as it is already water
based?
That is the only logical conclusion I can come to, because paint that had
stood was ok, but new paint was not!!!
Any ideas please?
Oh, I rang their customer services number this morning to ask their advice,
but it was an inaudible answerphone message saying something about their
website www.masterbrands.co.uk, which does not seem to exist.
Thanks
