Please would someone be kind enough to advise me on the best feed for a
hanging basket. I have heard that tomato plant food is very good. Can
anyone confirm this or give me alternatives?
Many thanks in anticipation

Hi Eva!
Buy yourself a box of Miracle Grow (approx £3.99) and it is provided with a
measure
simply mix it in your watering can and feed the baskets weekly

Phostrogen, Miracle Grow & Tomorite are all excellant to give to baskets you
might also try adding slow release fertiliser. I have an article on looking
after Hanging Baskets on my website, you might find it usefull along with the
other articles, they can be found at

I mix in slow release fertilizers when I prepare my baskets. Towards the
end of summer when my plants food needs have increased I will supplement my
water with a high phosphorus soluble ferilizer. The tomato food I buy helps
adjust soil pH which you may not want.
