If you want to see what an email is about but not open it completely, you can preview it. In the inbox, touch and hold an email to preview its contents and see a list of options for replying, filing it, and more. See Perform quick actions on iPhone.

To clarify, you have a red badge over the Mail app indicating there is an unread email? Or do you have an email notification banner like you'd typically see in the Notification Center or an actual email superimposed over the bottom part of your iPhone display.

For me, it appears as though there is an email draft being held at the bottom of the screen (as occurs normally), but when I press on the email my mail app closes. My problem began as I tried to send an email to a non-existent email address and now the undeliverable email is stuck down there. It doesn't show up in drafts and I've tried quitting and restarting the app and my phone several times and it isn't going away.

How do I get rid is this? I have tried creating another email and saving as a draft then opening my saved drafts and the one below is not there. If I tap the email then the email app closes. Please help me get this off my screen.

I just upgraded my iPhone to the 11 Pro Max, and I'm unable to email photos to myself, like I've always done on my 7+. I go to the photo I want and tap the blue up arrow > mail > to > send > actual size > and off it goes. Only I never receive the email at any of my email accounts (yahoo, aol, mail.com). How do I fix this? Thanks!

Yes, I've checked my spam folders, and my email addresses (all three of them) are correct. I haven't received anything saying the messages failed to send. Everything looks normal, only I don't receive the emails.

id still recommend the cloud storage if you are sending photos from your iphone to your windows PC. apps like google photos allow you to access your whole library or photos on the web: you can view edit and download them. it also uploads automatically so your photos are always up to date. id suggest checking it out.

I found a workaround for now. The emails were being sent to my Outbox (which is different than Sent). If I open one and send from there, I receive it in my inbox. It's an extra step, but at least it works.

When I went to update my apps it asked me to log into the App Store and now, out of nowhere, shows an old email address of mine that was NEVER associated with the App Store or my Apple account. If I go under settings, both the App Store and iCloud show me logged in with the correct email address (my me.com address) and not the old address. Here is what I have attempted so far...

This is quite frustrating as I've only had this particular iPhone for several months, I can't update my apps, and as I said before, the old email address was NEVER connected to the App Store or my Apple Account.

I am having the same issue after upgrading to iOS 11. Haven't figured out a fix yet. The email address that shows up in the new app store is one that my wife used in college - 10 years ago. I've never had anything to do with that address.

The Apple ID used to buy an app is the only Apple ID that can update the app. The Apple ID is encoded into the licensed copy of the app on your phone. If this email address was never associated with an Apple ID it would not be showing up in conjunction with an update.

Well then, there is a huge problem because my old address was never used for the App Store. I've been updating my apps with my me.com since I bought my first iPhone. Closest my old address was involved was when I had my first iPhone set up to check two email accounts until my frequent contacts started using my new email address, then I deleted the second email account. But the old address was never part of the App Store.

Ok, then you could try disabling location services all together, reset your phone, and then when you turn them back on, re-enable them. Also, you may need to login via a computer to you email and check your actuall email settings. When using your iphone, you are able to make these kinds of changes by setting up your location services, but you will need to log in and turn them off.

I'm developing an html email and am running into issues with rendering on iPhones. The email seems to show up perfectly fine on all email clients (gmail, outlook, hotmail, yahoo, etc...) & is showing up fine in other devices such as android, but iPhone seems to be the only problem.

The email is almost twice as long as it should be and there is nothing on the screen when you open it, you scroll down a long way and there is the email intact. Way at the bottom. Any thoughts on this?

The problem was that the container table I had to center the rest of the email did not have any type of vertical alignment set into place. I just assumed it would go to the top, however in the iPhone it sent my email to the bottom of the page with a large top white space.

Up until recently, I was able to attach files from Dropbox to my emails on my iPhone X. I use Polymail and Apple Mail. However, recently, the attachment dialogue stopped showing Dropbox as an option under "Locations". See screengrab for details

I imagine you have figured it out by now but let me add my $0.02. Screw the hubspot app right? we want to use our iphones right? If you insist on using the mail app on your iPhone or any other mail app for that matter, add the BCC forward address to your phone's contact list. that way when you send an email to a prospect, you can easily add the BCC contact you created instead of typing it out each time. not ideal but it works

I am trying to remember if my phone connects the emails and I don't recall. Trying a test does not provide the automatic BCC so I would need to add it, for me, it is too much trouble and not something I would remember.

I would highly recommend using the HubSpot app as you can send emails right from there and with an integrated email you will see them in your sent folder. I love this app for emails, quick notes, recaps of meetings, etc.

On the laptop, if using Office 365 through the browser, the tracking box needs to be sent for each email, or manually add the BCC. If you are using the Outlook Application then the Hubspot extension for Outlook with work.

If you want to set up an IMAP or POP email account, or don't have an email account with Exchange ActiveSync, use these instructions . When you set up an email account using IMAP or POP, only your email will sync--not calendar or contacts. What is IMAP and POP?

NOTE: iOS does support more complex passcodes if you would prefer something more secure than a 4-digit code. You can disable the "Simple Passcode" option in the Settings app. Tap on General and then Passcode Lock. This passcode is for your iPhone or iPad only. It is not linked to your Western computer accounts, but we do require that you protect your device with a passcode if you want to use it to access your Western email.

Any email is valid, as long as you can verify, that being said, using the edu email would not be advised because if you leave/change school, you would lose the access to it

I having a problem with making sangoma talk work on the iphone. It worked just fine when I used google chrome for the invite email. Next time, I used safari on the same phone, but the softphone app did not register. I am not sure if it is a safari problem on the iphone or something else. Since then, I have not been able to make it work on that iphone.

What version of iOS on the iphone? Ran into this same problem today. The iphone was on 16.1.1. They also had another iphone on 16.3 beta and that one connected fine. So they are going to update to 16.2 and see if that resolves the issue.

The Zoho Mail mobile app goes beyond being another email app. It includes calendar, contacts and files modules - a complete app suite - making it the suite-est mobile email app out there. This suite-ness combined with subtle yet powerful mobile optimized features such as quick swipe actions, empowers users to do more while on the move.

Zoho Mail makes accessing email on your mobile a breeze. The inbox is designed to be light, fast and mobile friendly. Swipe left across messages to quickly delete, move or archive them. Zoho Mail mobile puts email management at your fingertips.

When people reply to an email, Zoho Mail groups responses together in a single conversation, with the newest email on top. This is Conversation View. A conversation breaks off into a separate thread if the subject line changes. By grouping responses together, Conversation view also keeps your inbox tidy. This way your emails are organized and give you all the context you need to reply to those long email threads. However, if Conversation view is not your cup of tea, you can turn it off from Settings inside the app.

Organize your day better with the integrated Calendar. Schedule appointments, view/edit event details along with neat map overlays and get reminders for upcoming appointments; without leaving your email app.

These days, many of us have multiple email accounts, one for work, one for your blog, one for a group you may lead, and so on. With Zoho Mail, managing your mail for all your Zoho accounts becomes easier, thanks to one unified inbox. Zoho Mail lets you access multiple Zoho accounts without ever switching between apps, or even accounts. The unified inbox lets you view emails from all your accounts in one view, with push notifications for each account.
