Hi all

I have an establised Shrub which I love
I think its called Red Robins (or similar)
Its well know and has vibrant red branches & leaves
that grow from the darker main stems.
I dont think it flowers (I didnt plant it, it was there
in my new garden)

Can I move this plant indoors?
Can I propagate it indoors?

TIA

Photinia X fraseri 'Red Robin' by the sound of it.

Not really, it prefers the conditions it gets in the garden, though I
suppose you might try with a young one, just to see how it got on. It
does like a fair bit of light though, so don't stick it in the back of a
room.

I reckon semi ripe cuttings are the best, take them in the second half
of the summer and for once use plenty of rooting powder, unlike most
things it's actually useful with Photinias.

It will flower when it is a little more mature though the flowers are
not much to write home about. Heads of tiny pinkish white flowers all
over the bush.

It gets very large so would be very unsuitable for indoors even if it
could survive the conditions.
