I wonder if anyone has any experience with those temperature sensitive
automatic vent opening systems. Mine is a Jempvent one which has
gradually become less effective such that it will only open a small
amount even in very hot weather. All adjustments are at their limits.
The piston rod doesnt come out so I cant refill it with wax, if thats
what is needed!

Any help appreciated

Regards Lewis

On the subject of vents, I have noticed that these openers are a bit
pricey, to me anyway. At 24 ukp they do stretch the pocket a bit. So
imagine my surprise when I opened up the gardening section of the new Argos
catalogue to find that they are selling an auto vent opener for 12 ukp,
IIRC.

Not sure what make it is but think I will invest in one come payday. If its
naff I can always bring it back.

Paul.
