How much are you looking at spending and have you considered getting an
umbrella based bivvy? I used to use a dome style bivvy but got an Oval type
umbrella (Tails Up Bablyon) and have found it great - it honestly only takes
2 minutes to put up and less to take down. There is enough room inside for
a bedchair fully extended and space for all the kit you could need.
I guess it all depends on how much time you spend you spend on an average
session and what the swims are like on your regular venues. I fish the
river quite a bit and very often there is only just enough room to poke 2
rods through - the oval usually squezes in OK.

As for the two you've mentioned I've seen the one of the fox easy dome
bivvys but I'm not sure which one it was - it looked quite well built and
the guy was quite happy with it.

Just a freindly peice of advise...
dont bother buying a new Fox Bivvy until the new ones have been released.
There is a whole new range ready for release very soon. These are also much
better than the 2001 collection although not the best that Fox have ever
made, according to my colleague who saw them in October at the Trade Show.

Also, if you are looking at buying a new bivvy, Daiwa have just released one
that puts MOST carp companys e.g Fox, Nash etc to shame.
Its called the Infinity bivvy, just been released today in fact, and retails
at just £225.00, i shall be of course selling these cheaper, but i wont
advertise my price in here, so email if you want a price.
They are the conventioanal style of push the poles through, but the quality
is truly SUPERB. It also comes with alloy poles, which makes it nice and
light.
Although its not as easy as say an Easy dome to put up, its much better
quality than most, if not all the 2001 Fox collection.
To be honest with you, Fox's quality has DRASTICALLY gone down hill in the
last two years. They have worried more about profit, rather than quality.
But hey, thats my opinion of Fox gear, I sell the stuff, so i see what comes
back aswell.
Anyways, hope this maybe help, anymore questions dont hesitate to ask :o)

Being disabled in a sort of 1 legged way :) I have problems when setting up,
so I spent a long time and looked at several options, basically I found that
a lot does depend on what sort of lake you fish, if you have a good level
area then have a look at the armadillos they are superb, 2 mins up sorted
(you can get winter skins etc) but be warned they aren't the best on sloping
banks.

However I must admit I went for a Nash profile, "yer I know about leaks
etc" but for when I'm staying, I have had a overwrap made by
http://www.aquavista.freewire.co.uk/ ,big plug for them btw, they modified
a standard overwrap to suit my slightly strange needs. first rate people
very helpful. (this survived the other weekend, when more than 1 bivvy ended
up across the lake)

Also when summer arrives "Yipppeeeee" you only need use the brolly, 2 mins
sorted

oh,, armadillos were originally made only by aqua products
http://www.aqua-products.co.uk/ (not connected with aqua-vista btw), but
have now been copied by "the big boys", but with both the companies above
they are made in the UK, not imported, and in aqua-vista's case I can
personally say made to a very high standard indeed ( a friend also had a
brolly re-covered this was also a superb job ).

Hope it helps

oh, I wouldn't bother asking lee for prices, don't think he opens his mail
;)
3*8000gte's come on!!

Umm, Firstly, i do open my mail, i check it 4 times a day. But when i am at
work, if it hasnt got FAO Lee on the subject line, then its going to get
opened by someone else, before i get into work.

Secondly, i had a nash profile during my carp fishing days and i didnt get a
single leak with them, they are lightweight, very quick to set up, and good
quality :o)
Trakker do make something similar to the Aqua products bivvy, and i believe
fox will be releasing one shortly, but the Trakker or Aqua will be the best
bet.
