Any fishermen fished in Wincham Brook, Lostock Gralam, near Northwich, I
believe it is under the jurisdiction of Lymm Angling Club?

Did you catch anything? What?

Thanks :-)

From A556 roadbridge downstream to the pool in the woods beyond the meadow
is controlled by L.A.C. I head here during winter freeze-ups for the
grayling, my largest 1-14-0. Others include dace, roach, perch, chub,
gudgeon, bullheads, rainbow and brown trout (all fish must be returned)
also handful of barbel – extremely elusive. Barbless hooks compulsory. I
use v.simple light legering technique. Very few glides for float fishing.
Maggot & worm effective.
You can only access the car park using a key issued to members, no day
tickets.
For more info contact Neil Jupp, Secretary or Tom Casey,
Bailiff/Waterkeeper
The adjacent downstream length was controlled by Altrincham D.A.A I'm not
sure if this is still the case.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the very detailed and helpful reply. Do you know who
controls the section running through private land from the Wharf Pub
area on Manchester Road, Lostock Gralam towards the Slow and Easy Pub,
also on Manchester road? It flows under the canal near Manchester
Road, and runs roughly parallel to it.

Thanks for your help :-)
