>Congratulations Pip.
Thanks for everyone's encouragement. I can't quite beleive how quickly it has
all happened. It hasn't quite sunk in that I don't have Poppy and have a 4 y o
exracehorse, who is a dream to deal with. I am supprised what a huge relief not
being responsible for Poppy anymore is. Lots of work to be done over the
winter to get George going nicely. That floodlit indoor school will come in
very handy! He has brakes, manners, good in traffic, goes first or last. But
isn't keen on too much contact, is not too easy to steer (he doesn't really
follow the idea of moving away from my leg) and lacks balance in the school.
First MUST have teeth done.
Pip
Yep, he was vetted on Friday.
> Congratulations does this mean you are officially buying him and Nikki
> hasn't put the price up like you thought she might since he looked so
> promising?
I have officially bought him. Paid a deposit and transferring the rest
today in my lunch break. The point with Nicky was that each week she
paid to keep George and schooled him, his value was going to increase.
Afterall she is running a business with high overheads. She never said
that she would put the price up, but I was worried after other people
commented on how nice his paces were in the school. Come and ride him,
Re!!
> What's the latest on Poppy?
Poppy went on saturday. The girl suddenly knew of someone who could
pick her up on route elsewhere. So she suddenly went at the last
minute. Meaning I only had two horses for about 1/2 a day!
Pip
Thanks! Still pinching myself!
well done PIP...
