Hi,

Does anyone have a guide to dating Amanco hired man engines (perhaps
individual year production serial numbers?), as I am going to view one
tomorrow and when I'm there I would like to be able to ascertain an
approximate date.

Many Thanks

Andy

Andy,

Surely if you are trying to date an engine then you must get rid of your
shyness and just ask it out :-))

Martin's right - the straightforward approach is best.

However, I'd always thought that four strokes are blokes & two strokes are
wimmin - temperamental, expensive to maintain & sometimes difficult to get
them going.

But others may have a different view of course!

Don't forget the irritating high pitched noise that emanates from them :)
