I am not a happy bunny.

I have still not got the replacement frame and forks from Bianchi after
Luigi failed in the headtube.

Phonecalls and email to the shop concerned are getting a bit like "Still
waiting. No, don't know when it'll be here."

I am not a happy bunny.

BAH!

So I have just emailed Bianchi direct.

Cheers, helen s

Sorry to hear your news. As the retailer the LBS in question is legally
responsible. Write to them under the heading

Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (as amended).

Refer to your numerous phone calls and emails and their failure to respond.
Then give them seven days within which to resolve the matter. It is
essential that this be in letter form (obviously keep a copy). It usually
works.

Hope this is of some help to you,

John

Ta :-)

I've actaully just had a response from Bianchi, as I emailed Bianchi direct.
Apparently one will be with me by the end of next week. We shall see. If it
is: great. If not, I shall be taking matters further.

Cheers, helen s

IIRC, by my bikes standards that machine is not that old is it ? Is it
handmade ? Pretty shoddy nontheless. Thanks for the heads up.

Best of luck I never did get a replacement when my bianchi cracked.
LBS, which was in Norfolk, promised but never delivered and Bianchi
never replied to e-mails or letters. I suspect it was a grey import
and after 3 years the Sale of goods act didn't help. Wonder if it is
the same shop?

Different shop- mine involved grounded over weight non terrestrial bi
pedal animals! So hopefully you will get a better result. Tthe
Bianchi was a great bike butafter this I moved on to Giants (the bike
sort that is). It would be interesting to know if you get a response
from the Bianchi importers though. I probably deserved this though as
I wear bibshorts!
