12 months in jail for killing someone is pathetic.

One cyclist killed a woman and was only fined!

Now *that* is pathetic. He should of got jail time.

At least as an MP he can do something about this needless slaughter of innocent people.

And make sure that cyclists go to jail when they kill, rather than just
have silly fines imposed.

He can bring a private member's bill and we know that the HoL is pro cycling.

Baroness Vere, one time Labour peer (according to road.cc and some of
its readers) will probably take the same approach to that as she does to
legislation regarding cyclists killing people when using their phones
while cycling.

In an interview with (k)GB news - well this is going to be a good take.

No Mr Duncan White it hasnt "created a false sense of winners and losers" or "entirely failed in creating a sense of shared responsibility for the safety of all road users"

What it has done is put in writing what most decent people already knew - that the operator of the large multi-tonne and fast moving metal box should take care when operating said metal box around the squishy humans not in a metal box.

WELL SAID.
