My solutions to today's Sunday Express Skeleton and £1000 G/K crosswords are
now available on my page at http://members.lycos.co.uk/bri_tal

I am not entirely happy with the answer to 2 down in the Skeleton x-word
(ERICA) and, no doubt, others will have their own ideas.

Good luck.

Brian

First a big thankyou for the crossword solutions, you save me a lot of hair
pulling. In the Skeleton I think the answer to 2down could be EVITA (native
without the n) It's an idea anyway, worth mulling over.

thanks again

Mary

Hi Mary,

You have put me out of my misery - been trying all day to make other names
fit the clue (eliza, elisa,EVITA,edina) but without success.

I kept coming back to erica, even though I could not relate to a word
meaning local. Still, remembering Erica Rowe and her topless dash at
Twickenham, at least erica would have satisfied the first part of the clue
(TOPLESS) ! (LOL:) )

It was the word over which I should have concentrated on , ie in reverse
order.

Thanks again. I have uploaded the amended version of the solution to my web
page.
