We have 100 pairs of tickets to the National Portrait Gallery's exhibition Self Portrait - Renaissance to Contemporary (running from 20 October 2005 - 29 January 2006) to give away.
This major exhibition features works by Rembrandt, van Gogh, Kahlo and Beckmann alongside works by less well known artists.
Which German artist of the late 15th and early 16th century is famous for his self portraits?

Claude Monet
Albrecht Dürer
Edgar Degas

From the C4 website:
"The first programme focuses on the Renaissance and the German painter
Albrecht Dürer - the man who produced what is perhaps the first real self
portrait - a picture of the artist completely alone."
