Not seen a post for this today so....

WEM telling me I've won a set of 29 books with a $569.96 retail value from Bruce
Hershenson's E-Mail Club. I think the books are actually movie poster books that
they have published over the past 16-17 years. As a lobby card colector, they
could be quite useful. This company is based in the States sells movie posters
and memorabilia(Lobby cards, books, photos, etc.) on eBay. They run a poll each
month in the club newsletter and this month my name got pulled out of the hat.
The prize includes surface mail shipping outside of the US, so I should have
this in a couple of months :-)

First prize so far in 2007 :-)

Cheers

Kevin

Well done Kevin, you'll probably get your prize faster than a lot of UK
based prizes seem to take to be sent!!

I'm still waiting on a GMTV win back in September - the PR agency reckon
they sent it recorded weeks ago but I haven't signed for it... "sigh"

Cheers

I'm a big fan of the legendary stop-motion animation and special effects wizard
Ray Harryhausen and collect all sorts of movie memorabilia associated with his
work. This includes Lobby Cards. These are basically photos that used to be
posted in Cinema Lobbies to advertise current or forth-coming features. You
don't see them very often these days.

Oh right - what is called freecards these days ?

We have about 20,000 from relatively recent years - freecards that is of
anything and everything. Are there any of the type you collect that have
come out say in the last 10 years that you haven't managed to get hold of?

We are trying to trim them down LOL

I'll have to have a think about that but will get in touch if I can come up with
any thoughts. How come you have so many...or do you run a multi-plex as a hobby
for when you aren't too busy with your real job of comping :-)

Cheers
