Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the accepted correct (and
easiest to follow) format for posts always used to be:
Origin (www/ef/FB/postcard,etc) / Prize / c'd
And without loads of superfluous text such as :
"One fortunate viewer will get the chance to win an incredible £60,000, a
Mercedes C Class Saloon Sport, and a collection of must have gadgets
including, iPad 2, 3D Plasma TV, X Box 360, Kindle and much, much,
more.,8/3"
Why not:
"www. £60,000, car, ipad,tv,xbox,kindle etc c/d 8/3"
Short and sweet!
Simples!!
And no, I don't post comps myself any more - simply because I would have to
wade through hundreds of Debs posts to find any which hadnt already been
copied and pasted from loquax or similar!
So, you win Debs, I had hoped you would eventually manage to type (FB)
yourself, but apparantly not!
Goodbye uk.rec.competitions, You used to be fun and interesting, now you're
a dead one woman band!
