I was told by a rope seller, to whom I complained
that the rope bI had bought, quickly had the problem
of the sock moving relative to the core, that I should
have crimped the rope when I cut it, not just melted
it through.
I buy 200m spools for my club and melt it into four
50 m lengths.
How is this crimping done? Or is it just an excuse
to explain away the rope's problem?
