Some twat has scuffed my bonnet painted in Pearl black by putting a
couple of cardboard boxes on it and then sliding them towards the
windscreen leaving nasty scuff marks. They're not deep although it has
gone through the paint layers. What's the best way to reduce the
visibility of the marks and is there a way to get rid of them completely
without respraying?

Thanks in advance

Chances are that only the lacquer is scratched, apply T cut with a soft
cloth, work in the direction of scratches, be warned it may take some time
ie 15 mins plus, every min or so the T cut will dry, remove with clean cloth
and start again, if the scratches are deep and individual lines, use one
finger on the cloth up and down the scratch.

Good luck
