I mentioned elsewhere that I might try and put together a page that
tabulated people's experiences with insurance companies, and another
one for suppliers of kits.

Could you take a look here:

www.hargrave.me.uk/lpg/lpg_insurance.html

and here:

www.hargrave.me.uk/lpg/lpg_kit_suppliers.html

and see if there is anything you can contribute, either in this group
or by email (click one of the email links on the pages).

I've purloined some relevant comments from recent posts appeared here;
if anyone wants to expand on them, please do.

I'm in two minds whether to do a similar page for 'Converters and
Installers'. It could get unscrupulous converters contributing lots of
glowing reports, and no real way of validating them. Also, I'm not
sure how much extra work I want to get involved with. I'm not
anticipating huge numbers contributing to the pages above, but I might
grow to regret doing this.

Thanks to all who have contributed so far. I've not been overwhelmed,
but some interesting comments.

So far Norwich Union appear to be the most LPG friendly company, and
Hasting Direct the least. Unless you know differently.

Please bear this site in mind next time you renew your insurance, or
ring round for quotes - it needs lots more stuff yet.

Also, if anybody subscribes to any other UK based LPG forums, any
chance of you posting the links, please? And feel free to add them to
your websites.
