If you are a member of the CC there is a section to pass comment of your visit to
a CL on the CC website
How ever I've passed comment on several CL's I've visited and none have made it
for general publication
In my opinion its only the FAVOURABLE comments THAT ARE ALLOWED to get past the
CENSORS on most websites
A reason I don't register with any
In fact several years ago I registered with a fuel card company that was supposed
to save you money
A year later I requested to be removed from their emailing list , each time I
received an email I again requested to be removed
This time I've sent copies by recorded delivery to the Data Protection Registrar ,
I wonder what they will do after four years , NOWT probably
I recon half these websites are there to harvest details
Nowadays I'm not so gullible , I'm more paranoid

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean #they# aren't
plotting against you -)
John
Never thought of that
But then I'm not devious
I wasn't happy with Park Coppice , but that was down to ME , a grumpy old man
I've yet to get used to feral kids at 11 pm making enough noise to wake the dead
up
Or wardens doing a "Nelson touch" with the proximity of vans to the next and a
total disregard to fire hazards
I was only there for 4 days , it wasn't worth the aggro
Will I go back
NO WAY
DieSea
Aren't they all like that we never found good access to any of them

I don't mind the last mile or so on single track roads, but 25 mins with few
passing places and heavy traffic a bit much.
I've found a cracking little CL
No I'm going to be mean and not advertise it
It does have a few problems though
I ) It's a mile or two down a single track road with only gateways as passing
places
That's difficult when you're towing a 25ft twin axle
2 ) It's four or five miles away from a local hostelry that does reasonable food
and ale
3 ) Its so close to the beach , with the Tide and the wind in the wrong direction
you wouldn't need to walk five yards to get your feet wet
Now for the really good things
1 ) The beach is only 25 yards away
2 ) The views are spectacular
3 ) The ground is level and drains well , its also well looked after
Finally I've yet to find a more helpful CL owner
In fact a few Camp Commandants or even Blackpool landladies should be sent there
for compulsory re-training
Now to put my paddle back from where it came
;-))))))))))))))

It would be great to find an honest review site, unlike UKCAMPSITE in
the recent thread. Surely there must be one!

Same here, what a shame it's come to that. I guess this could be a
great opening for a regular on uk.rec.caravanning to collate our
reviews and post a sites monthly review here or something? Or maybe we
should just post our reviews anyway with the subject heading
REVIEW: Bloggs Farm CL Aug 2001?
Hey that sounds a great idea even if I do say so myself
