Hi folks, new here, got a question.

We are wanting a bigger tent than our present ageing little Vango dome
and are thinking about a Rage Alta 6DX. Has anyone got experience of
this or other Rage tents? We have seen one online at a very good price
and with a good review at www.ukcampsite.co.uk but would like to hear
stories good or bad. Or other suggestions also please ... we need one
that is easy to put up by one (experienced) person, flysheet up first,
good 'living room' with window(s), 2 bedrooms, 2-3 seasons, sewn in
groundsheet to bedrooms, at least 2m headroom. Oh, and not costing the
earth either, up to £200 max.

Dont waste your money , they are crap, slightest breeze will snap the poles
& ruin your trip.Loads of end of season bargains around now so look at the
websites, go for a recognized brand & hurry up because next seasons tents
are going up by 33%.

Thanks Cliff, it seemed like a lot of tent for the money - no doubt
it's a case of quantity over quality as usual. We'll go for something
better then.

We have an Indiana 8 tunnel tent, ticks all the above though TBH I don't
know if I would relish the idea of putting it up alone.

All the manufacturers seem to do one the same size and shape if you prefer
other brands.

Thanks for help everyone - have now bought a Coleman Darwin 5 from Go
Outdoors for £165, a bargain I hope. We will try it out tomorrow.
