A few days ago, I saw him feeding on the berries in the Hawthorn tree. He
swallowed two and then took off. But, as he flew, he grabbed an third berry
from a different branch "en passant"! Amazing flying skills!

Thank you, Peter. I am also a fan of your canal but I haven't been along it
since the 1980s. Still fond memories, though. Must be the prettiest on the
system. We used a friend's boat from Castlethorpe. Happy Daze!
