Upgraded with Black Gate and Audio Note copper paper in oil capacitors.
In perfect working order, but I've got new kit which makes it redundant.
Also included is new set of 4 matched Svetlana 6L6GC valves which are
a good alternative to try in place of the 5881 set which come with it.
I must have spent £1,000 all told, but will sell for £350 ono (UK)

A 20watt, Class A power amplifier that uses reliable Russian 5881 output
valves, a military version of the American 6L6, designed for low distortion
audio work. Now with a super shunt regulated push-pull (SRPP) input stage
K5881 offers amazing sound quality. It can be used with a simple passive
pre-amp or one of our own pre-amplifiers, and it matches modern loudspeakers
well. Weight 15kg, external dimensions with valves 40cm(w) x 32.5cm(d) x
17cm(h).

Note to the innocent - it *needs* much bigger O/P transformers due to
SE operation (which accounts for the additional cost), no additional
sound quality or bass extension should be implied.............
